This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use RoomCalcs.

What you type stays on your device

All calculators and the tile visualizer run entirely in your web browser. The measurements and choices you enter are not sent to us or to anyone else. If you use "Copy link", your numbers are placed in the link itself, so they are only shared if you choose to share the link.

What we store in your browser

We remember one thing: whether you prefer metric or imperial units. It is kept in your browser's local storage, never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

No accounts, no tracking cookies

There are no user accounts, no newsletter pop-ups, no advertising, and no tracking or analytics cookies on this site at the moment.

Hosting

The site is served by a hosting and content delivery provider. Like every web server, it necessarily processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use this information to identify you.

If this changes

If we ever add privacy-friendly visitor statistics or advertising, this page will be updated before that happens, and where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and Switzerland) you will be asked for consent first.
